Protestant Music Director

Provides music activities for the Whiteman Air Force Base Catholic Community, including musical directorship and instrument accompaniment for the Catholic Service at Whiteman AFB Chapel, and leads the praise team and congregation in worship.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of college in music (or related field), or equivalent years of related experience in a chapel/church setting
• Extensive knowledge of Catholic Faith traditions
• Ability to sing and vocally lead congregation in worship
• Ability to plan organize and lead a Catholic style praise team
• Ability to sight read, arrange, improve, play, and score music
• Ability to play the piano and/or guitar for practice and worship services
• Ability to sing music in keeping with a Catholic style, music service
• Ability to develop and maintain a healthy and positive relationship with volunteers, parishioners, and staff
