Certified Religious Education Coordinator

The Certified Religious Education Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the Catholic religious education program for children at Fort Detrick Chapel. This role focuses on preparing students for Sacraments of Penance, Eucharist, and Confirmation, aligning with Catholic church standards and military contractual requirements.

Requirements

• Certified by the Roman Catholic Church to coordinate and teach CCD
• Master’s degree in Theology, Religious Education, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in parish religious education, youth ministry, or Catholic school teaching
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills with demonstrated success in managing volunteers
• Strong commitment to Catholic teaching and community engagement
