Field Archaeologist

The Archaeological Project Manager will lead and oversee archaeological monitoring and discovery projects in Guam. This role involves managing all aspects of projects from initial planning to final reporting, ensuring efficient execution, safety, and adherence to quality standards. The position also requires collaboration with clients and regulatory authorities, and maintaining detailed project documentation.

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Communicate regularly with clients and provide weekly updates.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
• Implement a quality assurance plan.
• Prepare comprehensive archaeological Monitoring and Discovery Plans and Site Safety and Health Plans.
• Oversee archaeological fieldwork activities.
• Coordinate transportation and processing of artifacts.
• Oversee laboratory analysis and data integrity.
• Prepare comprehensive archaeological reports and GIS data.
