NDT Inspector

Landing Gear Technologies (LGT) is seeking a NDT Inspector to perform inspections on aircraft landing gears. The role involves using various NDT techniques, maintaining processes, and communicating inspection results to the company and customer. They are an FAA-Certified Repair Station specializing in aircraft landing gear repair and overhaul.

Requirements

• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using NDT methods of inspection.
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
• Record all inspection functions on applicable paperwork in accordance with the customer policies and procedures.
• Analytical skills: must be able to gather information and use data to determine cause and effect for complex problem solving.
• Verify that routine inspections and checks the NDI equipment are accomplished as per the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Ensure that the inspection tools and equipment, including inspection aids used to perform inspections, are in proper working order.
• Perform Quality Control Inspections as required.
