Job Description
Lantana Consulting Group is seeking a Public Health Data Analyst III to provide consulting, analytics, testing, training, and development services to support the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN). The successful candidate will have expertise in public health, statistics, and data analysis, as well as experience with HL7 FHIR and electronic health records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least nine (9) years of relevant experience in statistics, epidemiology, public health, or related field
- Experience using Python to import data, manipulate data and data sets, and conduct analyses regarding evaluation of data quality and accuracy
- Experience managing large datasets, moving and merging files from different platforms, cleaning and aggregating data, and performing quality control
- Experience with quality-assurance testing or user-acceptance testing that involves healthcare data
- Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance
