Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) provides compassionate care for individuals with terminal illnesses and their families, focusing on comfort, symptom management, and emotional support. The RN will deliver quality end-of-life care in a collaborative and empathetic manner, working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a dignified transition. This role involves conducting assessments, developing care plans, and coordinating patient care.

Requirements

• Valid license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where work is performed.
• 2 or more years of nursing experience, preferably with a focus on hospice, palliative care, or related fields.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and best practices in long-term care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements in hospice settings and nursing practices.
• Ability to build rapport with patients.
• Physical requirements: ability to lift and transfer patients (up to 50lbs), perform physical tasks, and handle medical equipment.
