Goldman Sachs is seeking a Vice President to join their Global Healthcare group, specializing in investment banking. The role involves advising on transactions for a diverse range of sub-sectors, including mergers, acquisitions, and financial restructurings, with a focus on healthcare-related projects. The team offers a range of financial services and has strong analytical capabilities.

Requirements

• Investment banking or equivalent experience
• Master’s Degree and 4+ years of investment banking experience; OR Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of investment banking or equivalent experience
• Sector expertise within Healthcare, Biotechnology, Diagnostics / Life Sciences, Healthcare Information Technology, Healthcare Services, Medical Devices, and Pharmaceuticals
• Experience with buy-side and sell-side M&A, equity and debt financing transactions
• Strong track record of executing M&A and financing transactions
• 2+ years’ experience in leading deal teams of analysts and associates
• History of outstanding academic and professional achievement
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Solid work ethic, motivation level, and strong attention to detail
• Personal integrity, initiative and leadership qualities
• Capacity to interact and build relationships with a wide range of people
