Job Description
LawnStarter is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join their growing LATAM-based remote team. The role involves leading projects end-to-end, building platform-level components, and mentoring engineers. They are looking for someone to contribute to shaping the future of their outdoor home services platform.
Requirements
- Experience in server-side and client-side software development
- Familiarity with cloud development (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure)
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases
- Understanding of Big O notation, pointers, composition vs. inheritance, and data structures
- Strong understanding of computer science concepts
- Customer-focused approach to software development
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Passion for clean code and building customer-driven solutions
