Job Description
The Director of Special Education and Wellness will manage the provision of all special education services within the school network. This role focuses on student support, program development, collaboration with school staff, and ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations. The role also includes coordination with external partners and creating opportunities for professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- 5 years of direct experience developing and implementing IEPs
- Valid California Education Specialist credential with English Learner authorization
- Valid California Administrative Services credential
- Knowledge of California standards, curriculum frameworks and current research-based practices
