Purchasing Manager

Purchasing Manager at Lear Corporation responsible for leading the commodity team to achieve the highest value supply chain. Will support global purchasing initiatives, implement cost savings opportunities, and ensure cost effective procurement and delivery of material and service.

Requirements

• Tooled plastic/metal components, raw material, or protections commodity experience
• Technical understanding of commodity and key cost drivers
• Understanding of purchasing commodity management
• Strong negotiation capabilities
• Supplier relationship management acumen
• Ability to collaborate with leaders across many functions and regions
• Entrepreneurial qualities
• Strong leadership capabilities
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, & Program Management
• Construct and story line presentations
• Strong written communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a highly productive, constantly changing environment
• Conflict and crisis management
• Strong analytics skills, high attention to details is required
