Job Description
Lear Corporation is looking for a Senior Controls & Automation Engineer to manage and install automation and controls systems design, specifying equipment, programming, simulation and testing, and start-up assistance. The role involves creating panel designs and layouts, bill of materials, and wiring schematics, and providing support of manufacturing operations to all shifts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in designing and maintaining PLC/HMI based control systems
- Knowledge of regulatory codes and standards such as OSHA, NEC, and NFPA
- Knowledge of Distribution Control System (DCS) Programming
- Knowledge of Electrical Engineering to understand system interactions, sizing of equipment, and fuses
- Knowledge of HMI/SCADA Configuration
- Knowledge of PLC Programming
- Knowledge of Robotics
- Knowledge of Project Management
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access
- Skill in using Rockwell Automation Software
