Job Description
Join Legacy Community Health as a Bilingual Patient Access Specialist and be the first point of contact for patients, transforming their experience through excellent communication. You'll schedule appointments, provide accurate information, and serve as the friendly voice of Legacy, contributing to a mission-driven team committed to providing high-quality, affordable healthcare in the Greater Houston and Gulf Coast region.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Knowledge of medical and/or insurance terminology
- Bilingual abilities in English/Spanish
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Precise keyboard typing, data-entry, and navigation skills
- Proficiency in MS Windows, Email, Online/Electronic forms, and websites
- Ability to juggle multiple callers and tasks
- Experience in patient scheduling
