Product Development Engineer IV is responsible for designing and developing commercial refrigeration equipment, including condensing units, unit coolers, and air-cooled condensers. The role involves supporting production through maintenance engineering, conducting product investigations, and implementing and testing refrigeration control systems. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering and at least 8 years of relevant work experience in design and development of Refrigeration/HVAC.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering
- At least 8 years of relevant work experience in design and development of Refrigeration/HVAC
- Experience in HVAC/R systems for design/development and qualification
- Strong technical expert in design, testing and certification of refrigeration systems and understanding of applications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to prioritize and work on several projects at the same time and to adhere to project schedules
- Ability to work with component suppliers
- Ability to work on cross functional teams
- Flexible and able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of electro-mechanical control systems
- Experience with SAP and CAD
