Job Description
This counselor role provides trauma-informed, strengths-based, and recovery-oriented treatment and counseling services to clients in a residential setting. The role involves counseling, treatment planning, case management, and collaboration with various clinical staff. It focuses on promoting client rehabilitation and skill development.
Requirements
- CACSAC certification + 3 years of direct experience with substance use disorder population.
- Knowledge of substance abuse treatment, including detoxification and withdrawal symptoms.
- Multi-cultural competency and sensitivity to clients.
- Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Word, and Uni/Care.
- Familiarity with the TC process.
