The Heavy Equipment and Small Tools Director will manage the strategic, operational and financial aspects of the fleet of heavy machinery, vehicles, and small tools to maximize availability, performance, safety and profitability of construction operations.

Requirements

• Define the global fleet management strategy
• Develop and maintain the equipment renewal plan
• Implement reservation, tracking and return processes for equipment
• Implement and enforce a preventive and corrective maintenance program
• Develop and manage the annual budget for the equipment department
• Analyze fleet profitability and recommend optimizations
• Direct, guide and mobilize the garage and warehouse team
• Ensure that all equipment is safe, compliant and certified
• Propose continuous improvements
