Assistant Production Manager

Lhoist North America is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership and management experience in an industrial setting, with a strong understanding of safety, environmental regulations, and quality control. The role requires effective communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.

Requirements

• Ensure the most safe, efficient, and economical operation of the plant
• Manage the shipping, hydrate and kiln operation in a manner consistent with the vision of LNA
• Communicate effectively with all employees on all levels
• Clearly understand and communicate the operation vision to your assigned department and team members.
• Apply the consistent fundamental of the product and process quality
• Timely response to both internal and external customer demands
• Monitor overall department performance for production and quality standards to ensure they are being met
• Budgeting Participation and Engagement
• Teamwork and Team Development
• Perform other duties as assigned.
