Libertex Europe is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to manage payroll operations for local and international entities. The role involves working closely with external payroll providers to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across multiple jurisdictions.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Payroll Officer or in a similar role
- Excellent command of English and Greek (both written and spoken)
- In-depth knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal controls, and payroll taxes
- Strong understanding of local tax, labour, and social insurance regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and payroll software
- Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong communication and coordination skills for cross-department collaboration
