Senior Bid Manager

The role of Senior Bid Manager reports to the Head of Bidding and is responsible for leading strategic key bids, and supporting the process that helps to identify, manage and respond to new Local Authority and Business-to-business (B2B) tender opportunities.

Requirements

• Leading strategic key bids
• Supporting the process that helps to identify, manage and respond to new Local Authority and Business-to-business (B2B) tender opportunities
• Managing the internal processes and managing the bidding infrastructure (for example, our bid library and SharePoint sites)
• Proactively working with and supporting a network of subject matter experts
• Supporting the management of bid portals & identifying new tender opportunities
• Supporting the drafting of high-quality tender and proposal responses
• Assistance in proof reading and editing the wider team's bids
• Supporting the initial pre-screening technical reviews of new opportunities
• Conducting research on request to enhance bids
• Undertaking suitable Electric Vehicle Charge Point (EVCP) site discovery
• Liaising with external contacts within LAs and businesses
• Supporting the wider internal team on tendering performance updates
• Ensuring detailed bid feedback exercises are undertaken
