Job Description
Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) provide treatment to patients in their home setting under the guidance of a physical therapist and physician. This role involves coordinating with other team members, providing education and training to patients and families, and maintaining a high level of professionalism. PTAs are responsible for measuring patient condition, documenting treatment progress, and participating in required case conferences.
Requirements
- 1 year experience as a PT in a clinical care setting
- Current driver’s license in good standing
- Reliable transportation and auto liability insurance
- Current State professional license as a PTA in any/all applicable states
- Current CPR certificate
- Valid PTA license in the state of practice
