Job Description
LifeMoves is seeking a Residential Service Coordinator to join their team at the Montgomery Street Inn in San Jose, CA. This part-time role requires strong attention to safety and emotional well-being of clients, with a focus on crisis response, daily operations, and facility management. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of experience in the homelessness or human services field, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
Requirements
- Provide calm, supportive crisis response and connect clients to appropriate resources
- Support daily operations by responding to needs and questions from clients, volunteers, donors, and visitors
- Monitor site safety and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
- Manage facility meals, supplies, and donations
- Conduct welcomes, move-ins, completions, and move-outs
- Support team collaboration and maintain clear, unbiased documentation
