Job Description
LifeMoves is seeking a Residential Service Coordinator to provide interim housing and supportive services to clients experiencing homelessness in San Jose. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, with 2 years of directly related experience in the homelessness or human services field. The role requires strong attention to safety and emotional well-being, with a willingness to work with people from all backgrounds with care, respect, and empathy.
Requirements
- Provide calm, supportive crisis response and connect clients to appropriate resources
- Support daily operations by responding to needs and questions from clients, volunteers, donors, and visitors
- Monitor site safety and report maintenance or pest control needs
- Manage facility meals, supplies, and donations
- Conduct welcomes, move-ins, completions, and move-outs
- Support team collaboration and maintain a high level of ethical conduct
