Building Engineer

The Building Engineer I is responsible for maintaining, operating, and troubleshooting building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. This role involves routine maintenance, responding to tenant requests, and ensuring system safety. The engineer will work closely with senior engineers and technicians to support building operations and address tenant issues.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED required
• Two to three years of job related experience or commensurate certification/trade experience
• CFC Certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Basic working knowledge of laptop and phone applications
• Basic skills with Microsoft Outlook
• Basic knowledge of fire/life safety equipment/procedures
• Familiarity with blueprints and code requirements
• Ability to work after hours, weekends, holidays, and during emergency situations
