Job Description
The Chief Building Engineer leads all building maintenance, repair, and operations to ensure high tenant satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role involves managing building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), overseeing contractor work, and maintaining comprehensive documentation. The engineer will collaborate with tenants, contractors, and property managers to address issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
- Manage building maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
- Monitor building energy usage and maintain efficient operations.
- Oversee contractor work and manage tenant improvement projects.
- Prepare budgets, control inventory, and manage purchasing.
