Job Description
The Lead Building Engineer leads and oversees the operation and maintenance of building systems, ensuring efficient and safe performance while supervising engineering staff and contractors. This role involves monitoring equipment, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring compliance with building standards. The engineer will collaborate with tenants and vendors to resolve issues and maintain reliable operations.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Five to seven years of industry experience
- CFC Certification preferred
- Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS), HVAC, and electrical controls
- Experience with MS Office and CMMS software
- Competent knowledge of blueprints and code requirements
