Job Description
The Property Accountant is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, and cash management for assigned properties. This role involves understanding lease administration, analyzing financial statements, preparing reports, and assisting with audits. The position requires a strong understanding of financial statements and a commitment to ensuring accurate and timely accounting for the financial operations of properties.
Requirements
- Responsible for the general ledgers for assigned properties.
- Understand accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and cash receipts.
- Review annual expense reconciliation and billings.
- Assist with audits regarding draft financial statements.
- Prepare detailed working papers and support schedules.
- Assist with budget and forecast review.
- Assist with financial modeling and analysis.
