Property Accountant

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Property Accountant to serve as a financial expert for a portfolio of complex properties. The role involves timely and accurate reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management, as well as ensuring implementation of company-wide accounting and reporting initiatives. The position involves a combination of independent work and collaboration with property managers.

Requirements

• Reports accurately and timely the financial records of assigned portfolios
• Works closely with property managers to ensure consistency in reporting and operations
• Maintains a calendar of required reporting deadlines
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and prepares tax and audit work papers
• Monitors cash and manages fund placement
• Analyzes data and provides accurate answers to owners
• Prepares personal property tax listings and monitors sales/use tax
• Understands lease terminology and works closely with Lease Administrators
