Senior Design Engineer

LiquidPiston is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to play a key role in the design, simulation, and development of their advanced rotary engines. This hands-on role requires a deep understanding of engine systems, innovation, and strong mechanical design and simulation skills. The ideal candidate will contribute to the production-ready technical drawings and analyze engine performance data.

Requirements

• Generate and evaluate new ideas to improve engine performance.
• Create detailed part and assembly models using SolidWorks.
• Lead early-stage engine architecture and layout processes.
• Perform component and system-level analysis using tools like ANSYS and MATLAB.
• Select and coordinate with suppliers.
• Support engine assembly processes.
• Maintain standardized procedures for design, analysis, and documentation.
