Job Description
LiquidPiston, a technology startup focused on internal combustion engine technologies, is seeking a detailed Engineer to join their Skunkwerxs team. This role involves the design, development, and validation of rotary and piston engine components, supporting efforts from concept to prototype. The team is pushing the boundaries of propulsion technology in defense, aerospace, and commercial sectors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Converge expert with advanced CFD simulation experience.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or CAD software (CATIA, NX, or similar).
- FEA experience for stress and thermal analysis.
- Understanding of engine durability testing protocols.
- Strong knowledge of design for manufacturability and design for assembly.
- Familiarity with engine prototype development and validation.
- Strong knowledge of design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).
