Job Description
As the Industrial Engineer for the Missiles and Fire Control team, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving production processes, applying lean principles, and driving measurable productivity and quality gains. You will support process-improvement projects across the manufacturing footprint, collect and analyze production data, and develop and update work-cell layouts and material-handling flows for improved ergonomics and throughput.
Requirements
- Support process-improvement projects across the manufacturing footprint
- Collect and analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and waste
- Develop and update work-cell layouts and material-handling flows for improved ergonomics and throughput
- Implement lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen events, value-stream mapping, and poka-yoke, tracking performance metrics
- Collaborate with supply-chain, quality, and manufacturing teams to reduce lead-time variability and drive productivity
