As the Industrial Engineer Sr. for the Missiles and Fire Control team, you will lead cross-functional initiatives that drive productivity, quality, and waste reduction across our manufacturing footprint. You will be responsible for developing layout designs for equipment and workspaces, conducting time studies and data analysis, and collaborating with supply chain to optimize material flow.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial engineering role within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
- Extensive experience in developing large layout designs for equipment and workspaces to enhance productivity and reduce waste
- Proven track record in work measurement and time standards
- Proficiency with various work measurement techniques such as predetermined motion time systems (PMTS), work sampling, and direct time study
- Extensive experience in continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics and statistical analysis
- Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for designing and analyzing manufacturing systems
- Proficiency in using simulation software (e.g., Arena, Simul8, FlexSim, SIMIO) or Excel to model, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes
