Join Lockheed Martin as a Materials and Processes Engineer, Sr. (Level III) to support a broad range of projects, developing and evaluating new and innovative technologies.
Requirements
- Experience in Materials Engineering, demonstrated through professional work history or relevant academic background
- Experience reviewing engineering drawings and/or specifications or reports, and providing guidance to engineers or stakeholders
- Experience with either metals, composites, polymers, adhesive bonding, thin films, and/or coatings for corrosion control
- Willingness/ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance
- Knowledge of Materials and Processes for product development, improvement, design, application and production
- Experience establishing and implementing technical requirements (specifications, program plans/requirements, etc.)
- Knowledge of laboratory material test/evaluation methods (mechanical, optical, surface chemistry, etc.)
- Knowledge of environmental and operational requirements for materials in space or missile applications
- Work experience independently resolving issues related to manufacturing, development, and failure analysis
- Active or Current Secret clearance
