Outpatient Psychotherapist

The Outpatient Psychotherapist provides advanced clinical, problem-solving, and crisis intervention services to patients in a mental health setting. This role involves clinical services, case management, discharge planning, and intervention in high-risk situations. The therapist must adhere to legal and regulatory reporting requirements and collaborate with the treatment team and collateral contacts.

Requirements

• Completion of a master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling related field, or doctoral degree in clinical psychology.
• Current BBS license.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a behavioral health care setting.
• Minimum of two years of experience in an acute psychiatric facility with a population focused on the age specifically (five years preferred).
• At least two years of experience in a recovery program, at least five years in an acute psychiatric facility.
