Legal Counsel

We're hiring our first in-house lawyer to own enterprise deals, fix our contracting engine, and build day-to-day legal workflows that let Lovable scale without breaking. As a hands-on role, you'll be responsible for the nuts and bolts of legal, including redlines, workflows, contract systems, and day-to-day calls from sales/product.

Requirements

• 6–12 years’ legal experience, with at least 2-4 years in-house at a high-growth tech company (Series A–C ideal)
• Strong commercial contracting + enterprise negotiation skills
• Foundation across privacy, IP, corporate, and employment law
• Familiarity with US and cross-border contracting
• Builder mindset: you enjoy fixing broken templates, designing workflows, and creating clarity in chaos
• Bias for action—you’d rather solve and improve than write long memos
