Job Description
Lucid Motors is seeking a Sr. Paint Automation Engineer to lead the design and implementation of new Paint automated equipment. The role involves designing and implementing paint cells & processes to meet production requirements, evaluating technology solutions, managing projects from concept to production, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve quality and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in science or related field required.
- 5+ years in Paint Process Engineering.
- Experience in the automotive Paint equipment design/ sustaining is a must.
- Experience with Fanuc, DURR or ABB paint automation.
- Experience with sealer dispensing systems.
- Ability to influence outcomes and drive initiatives in complex environments.
- Possesses strong presentation skills and communicates clearly and professionally at various levels both inside and outside the company.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Catia and Delmia.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
