Job Description
The Home Study/Post-Release Services Case Manager will conduct home studies, case management and supportive services to unaccompanied immigrant children once they are released to their sponsors in the New York metro area. Key areas of responsibility include conducting home visits and phone contacts, ongoing case management, and providing crisis intervention services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Sociology
- Fluency in Spanish
- At least 1 year of experience with child welfare programs
- Knowledge of community resources and ability to connect families to community services
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass an FBI background check and CA/N check
