We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Compliance and Payroll Specialist to join our finance team. This dual-focused role will involve ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations while managing payroll processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- 5+ years of experience in payroll and statutory compliance for Indian entities (100+ staff)
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, PF, ESI, PT, and TDS
- Hands-on experience with payroll software (GreytHR, Zoho People, QuickBooks Payroll, or similar)
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills for data validation and reports
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Clear English communication skills — written and verbal
- Proven ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion
- Experience coordinating with U.S.-based teams is a plus
