Job Description
M/I Homes is seeking a driven VP of Land Acquisition to manage the acquisition and qualification of land for new development in Southwest Florida. The role involves prospecting for opportunities, negotiating terms, managing entitlement processes, and ensuring compliance with building regulations. This position offers growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding division.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree: Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years Land Acquisition experience.
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of residential homebuilder experience (Single Family Homes, Active Adult Communities, Townhome Communities)
- Excellent negotiation and financial skills.
- Strong understanding of profit margins and return on net assets.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining priorities.
