Home Support Worker - East End

Home Support Worker role involves helping with activities of daily living and managing everyday tasks for people with health-related issues or aging or isolation. Opportunity to work towards Personal Support Worker certification.

Requirements

• Experience working with the elderly in a community setting
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently with limited direction
• Exercise good judgment, problem-solving skills
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Knowledge of First Nation cultural values and traditions and ability to speak Ojibway is an asset
• Ability to meet the physical demand of the position
• Must have a valid drivers' license and access to a personal vehicle
