Job Description
Residential Support Workers – HART Hub: providing culturally safe environment, acknowledging the Seven Grandfather Teachings, and supporting individuals in group homes or residential settings with daily living skills, personal care and household tasks.
Requirements
- Diploma or certificate in Social Work, Addictions, Indigenous Wellness, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working with Indigenous communities, residential or land-based healing programs, or in mental health/addictions settings.
- Valid First Aid/CPR and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience working with Indigenous people, organizations, and communities.
- Knowledge and experience of Anishinabek Health and Traditional healing practices.
