Mach Industries is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to drive the evolution of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) processes. The role involves collaborating with Product Engineering to revolutionize the entire product lifecycle, from concept to production to end-of-life. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cutting-edge prototype builds, manufacturing processes, and next-generation autonomous defense platforms.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in an engineering role related to DFMA, product optimization, manufacturing processes, or equipment development.
- Strong experience in precision assembly, inspection, and automation equipment development.
- Proficiency in building and interpreting tolerance analysis for parts and assemblies.
- Knowledge of machine qualification requirements, including calibration, correlation, capability, repeatability, and reproducibility.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems using first principles and a bias toward action.
- Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
- Experience with 2D and 3D CAD environments and engineering tools.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a global environment.
