Job Description
Mackenzie Health is seeking a Food Service Attendant to support the Food and Nutrition Services department by completing food service and sanitation tasks, preparing food, and ensuring the department is clean and safe. The role requires physical strength and adherence to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Current and valid Food Safety Proton Certificate from Public Health
- Physical ability to push loaded food carts, long standing and walking
- Strong command of the English language
- Understanding of WHMIS, HACCP, FIFO procedures and guidelines
- Ability to read and follow standardized recipes
- Understanding of therapeutic diets
- Demonstrated understanding and compliance with patient and staff safety policies
