Senior Analyst Fund Admin & Oversight

As a Senior Analyst, Fund Accounting Oversight at Mackenzie Investments, you will be responsible for accurate and timely fund valuations, maintaining unitholder interests through strong controls, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement. You will oversee NAV production conducted by external service providers, review and challenge NAV escalations, and monitor execution of critical controls. You will also collaborate with vendors to resolve NAV errors and operational exceptions, and participate in SOC reporting reviews, custody transitions, and broader vendor governance initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in fund accounting, valuation oversight, NAV operations, or related asset management functions
• Thorough understanding of fund valuation principles, pricing methodologies, reconciliation workflows, and various financial instruments including equities, fixed income, and alternatives
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; knowledge of AI tools and Power BI; familiarity with fundamental fund accounting and fund administration systems
• Basic understanding of Python is considered an asset
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
• Canadian Securities Course (CSC) certification or equivalent professional expertise
• Progress toward CFA, CPA, or other relevant industry certifications is considered an advantage
