Director of Grant Writing

The Director of Grant Writing will lead the organization's grant writing efforts, researching and identifying funding sources, preparing proposals and reports, and ensuring timely acknowledgement of contributions. The role will also involve partnership building, community affinity, research, and internal collaboration.

Requirements

• Research and identify private funding sources
• Prepare and submit proposals and reports to funders
• Ensure timely acknowledgement of contributions and prepare reports as required
• Participate in multidisciplinary team to execute award agreements
• Collaborate with development team to identify potential partners and funding sources
• Advocate for the organization as a provider of social services to marginalized members of the community
• Research and cultivate new sources of private revenues
• Work closely with various Salvation Army entities to ensure community engagement efforts are streamlined
