Accountant

ManpowerGroup, on behalf of a client, is seeking a full-time Accountant in Metamorfosi, Attica, Greece. The role involves preparing and reconciling financial records, monitoring bank accounts, and ensuring tax compliance. This position reports to a Senior Accountant.

Requirements

• Preparation and reconciliation of electronic books submissions (myData)
• Recording and monitoring of bank account transactions
• Accounting entry of daily transactions into the appropriate accounts
• Monitoring of company revenues and expenses
• Ensuring company compliance with current tax legislation, Greek Accounting Standards, and withholding taxes
• Preparation of monthly VAT returns and other tax declarations
• Participation in the preparation of contracts
• Organization, responsibility, confidentiality, and flexibility
• Professional behavior and team spirit
• Good knowledge of the English language
