MarketAxess is on a journey to digitally transform one of the world’s largest financial markets, enabling the shift from analog, phone-based trading to a fully electronic marketplace. We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Cloud Platform team, responsible for governing and managing our company's AWS footprint, operating critical systems, and building a secure, reliable, and global platform.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software development experience, with 2 years in Cloud and/or DevOps roles
- 2+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, deploying, and automating infrastructure & platform services in Public Clouds (AWS preferred, GCP, and Azure)
- Comprehensive understanding of CI/CD and experience with building and deploying pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions
- Real world experience with distributed systems, especially containers and Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge in at least one language: Java, C#, Python, JavaScript
- Advanced level of Linux OS understanding and scripting skills
- Understanding of Agile software development practices and operational excellence
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
