Systems Engineer

Markon is hiring a Systems Engineer to guide engineering teams in taking a multi-disciplined approach to requirements engineering, solutions engineering, and system integration across the National System of Geospatial-intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-intelligence (ASG), and Federal Agencies. The ideal candidate will have experience with the NGA or highly related geospatial systems engineering, and will support the government in requirements engineering, solutions development, system integration, reliability, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical/scientific field.
• 6-18 years of experience, depending on level (Mid-Level, Senior-Level, Expert-Level)
• Experience working within government environments, preferably within the Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD)
• INCOSE Systems Engineering Certification
• Working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and languages
• Working knowledge of Software Development Frameworks
