Job Description
Mattina Mechanical Ltd is seeking a Director of Construction Operations – Major Projects to lead the delivery of large-scale mechanical construction projects. This role involves overseeing budgets, mentoring teams, ensuring quality and safety, and driving efficiency. The position offers opportunities for professional growth and a collaborative environment within a respected full-service contractor.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field (Master’s an asset).
- 10+ years of construction operations management within ICI and/or mid- to high-rise residential.
- 5+ years in a leadership role with direct reports.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with mechanical building systems (HVAC, plumbing, piping, BAS).
- Proven cross-functional leadership with Procurement, Engineering, Finance, and HR.
- Experience driving transformational change in high-growth or restructuring environments is a strong asset.
- Direct responsibility for developing and managing budgets exceeding $50M annually.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management tools.
- Driver’s license in good standing.
