Assistant or Associate Professor (Clinical), Department of Pathology, Division of Hematopathology (C1-251205)

The McGill University Department of Pathology is inviting applications for a full-time Contract Academic Staff position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor (Clinical) based at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC). The successful candidate will join an academic and high-volume comprehensive division at the MUHC, Glen Site—a major teaching hospital affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Canada’s internationally renowned McGill University, located in the vibrant and multicultural city of Montreal, in the province of Quebec.

Requirements

• Hold an MD degree and must hold, or be eligible for, licensure in the province of Quebec
• Hold certification in Anatomic Pathology and be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent)
• Have at least one year of post-residency fellowship in hematopathology with expertise in flow cytometry panels and in molecular pathology as it relates to hematopathology
• Have demonstrated excellence in teaching, and an interest in clinical research and publication
• Have a demonstrated track record of collegiality
• Have bilingual language skills (French or English) are preferred, or a commitment to acquire the necessary language skills to practice medicine in Quebec
