Assistant Professor (Clinical), Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases (C1-251211)

The McGill University Department of Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences invites applications for a full-time Clinician-Teacher position as a member of the Contract Academic Staff at the rank of Assistant Professor (Clinical). The successful candidate will be appointed to clinical practice at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) within the Division of Infectious Diseases.

Requirements

• Hold an MD degree, and have completed specialty training in Infectious Diseases and/or Medical Microbiology
• Be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent)
• Be eligible for licensure in the Province of Quebec and certification by the Collège des médecins du Québec
• Have at least one additional year of training specializing in surgical infections and/or infection control
• Possess strong clinical, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Bilingual language skills (French and English) are preferred, or a commitment to acquire the necessary language skills to practice medicine in Quebec
