Junior Buyer

McLane Global is seeking a Junior Buyer to support purchasing and procurement activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of supplies and products. This role involves supplier coordination, purchase order management, inventory tracking, and contributing to category strategy development. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills, proficient in inventory systems, and familiar with food industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations in the food industry.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory or ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of food industry standards, product shelf life, and logistics.
